Couples' Bible Studies
Groups of 5-8 couples meet monthly during the school year in homes Contact: Leann Thompson (952-934-5659, ext. 24); or Pam Schumacher (952-934-5659. ext. 29).

 


Women's Bible Studies

 

  • Monday Nights, 7:00 PM  Meets the 1st and 3rd Mondays monthly at different locations. Contact Tracy Sudak 

 

  • Circle of Grace, 4:00-5:15 PM  Meets twice per month on Mondays at School of the Wise II in Chan. Contact Kris Spangrud

Common Thread
Meets on a monthly basis for a variety of service and fellowship activities. If you're 50 or better, this is a must for fun, fellowship, friendship and food! Contact the church office for more information.

 

Corkers

If you’re a wine enthusiast (21 or older), join us for a delightful evening of fellowship and wine tasting. Get to know other church members, who perhaps attend a different worship service, in a relaxed setting. Each couple or individual brings a bottle of wine (usually in the $10-12 range) and an appetizer or dessert to share. Please contact Joyce Lomauro.

 

Downtown Lunch Bunch

Do you work in downtown Minneapolis? Join other Family of Christ members once a month downtown for lunch and fellowship for about an hour. Contact Rod Bubke.

 

Field Trips for Adults

Geocaching

Use your (or a friend's) GPS device or GPS-enabled cell phone to find hidden 'treasures.' We'll  explain everything to you, so you're prepared for marvelous adventures! For all ages. Saturday mornings, 10:00 AM, during the summer. Contact Mark Laven.

Men's Group (a.k.a. "The Spartans")
Meets first Saturday of each month at 7:00 AM for breakfast, devotions, fellowship, and fun work projects around church. Contact Kelly Lynk (call the church office for info: 952-934-5659)

 

Piece by Piece Quilting
The quilt-making group meets twice a month during the school year, at church, to assemble and tie quilts. Quilts are then donated to Lutheran World Relief or homeless shelters. New members are always welcome! No sewing skills are required...just a good sense of humor. Come once or twice a month, or whenever you can. Prayer Shawl Ministry
Meets after Friday morning Bible study to knit or crochet shawls to give to people facing difficulties. Contact Joyce McMahon.

Sacred Seasons

Designs, constructs & hangs liturgical banners, assists with seasonal décor. Contact Dean Brown
