Wine Corks

Wine and Movies

A new FoC small group, Wine Corks, will have its inaugural meeting at the home of Gary & Joyce Lomauro on Friday, January 20, at 7:00 PM. If you’re a wine enthusiast (21 or older), join us for a delightful evening of fellowship and wine tasting. Get to know other church members, who perhaps attend a different worship service, in a relaxed setting. Each couple or individual brings a bottle of wine (usually in the $10-12 range) and an appetizer or dessert to share. The theme is "Wine and the Movies.” Your challenge is to find a bottle of wine that is associated with a movie or someone from the movie industry. Was there a wine reference in one of your favorite movies? Has an actor or producer talked about a favorite wine or does s/he own a winery? Bring what they inspire you to buy. Space is limited to 30 people; sign up by January 15. Any questions? Please contact Joyce Lomauro

Young Adult Ministry (YAM)
