We Love Our Troops

Join our church school children and show love for our troops during the month of February. Family of Christ member Doug Welder is currently serving for a year in Afghanistan. His children, Allie and Jonah, are part of the church school program. Doug's wife recommended items for us to donate. Please have the children bring personal care items this month to be sent to Doug’s unit:

•    Toothpaste/brushes
•    Shave cream
•    Soap
•    Deodorant

Place them in the big box marked “We Love Our Troops” in the lower level. (We'll also accept rice and pasta, the foods most needed right now at the food shelf. We don’t want to forget our nearer neighbors in need.)

PROP (People Reaching Out to Other People)

needs plastic bags (such as the kind you get at Target, Byerly’s, etc.). Please bring them to the bin under the coat rack near the kitchen.

Coffee Cart (Mission Trip Fundraiser)

Visit the coffee/donut table every Sunday and have a mission trip participant make you a delicious drink. To raise money for trips, students are mixing made-to-order flavored coffee drinks, lattes, hot chocolate, tea, and chai tea: $1.00/cup. Now available: Peace Coffee! We have 4 different varieties of this delicious fair trade and organic brew. $11.00/bag.
