Get to Know Pastor Josh

Attend one of these "TMI with Pr Josh” events, and get to know Pr Josh better in a casual setting outside of worship. (The goal really isn’t to share ‘too much information’ — but just enough!)

  • Friday, 2/24, 9:30 AM, the discussion is about women’s study groups
  • Tuesday, 2/28, 1:30 PM, is an open discussion

The sessions will run 20-30 minutes each.

Ash Wednesday & Lenten Worship

Ash Wednesday Services

February 22, 5:30 & 7:00 PM

Lenten Worship

On the following 5 Lenten Wednesdays (Feb. 29-March 28), we’ll have worship from 7:30-8:00 PM, joining with our confirmation class which normally has worship during this midweek time. For these evening services, we’ll use Holden Evening Prayer.

We’ll also have a midweek service at noon throughout Lent (from Feb. 29-Mar. 28) from 12:00-1:00 PM which will involve a simple lunch of soup and bread, followed at 12:30 by a quiet, contemplative worship service. Take a needed break from the busy-ness of your life by spending time in spiritual refreshment on Lenten Wednesdays.

 Yoga During Lent

Our Lenten theme is “Keeping Sabbath,” reminding us to make time for rest & renewal in our busy lives. Yoga can be just that. Please join Kim Motschenbacher for a 6-week series on Thursdays during the season of Lent, beginning Thursday, February 23. Two class options: 6:00-6:55 PM or 7:00-7:55 PM. Kim’s instruction focuses on stretching, breathing and finding stillness within, along with Lenten devotions. Cost for the series is $45, payable the first evening of class. Participants should wear snug-fitting clothes that they can move in. Bring a yoga mat, water and a towel. Please sign up on the poster in the narthex. Questions? Contact Kim or Leann Thompson.
