Props & Costumes Needed

Props:


  • Metal/tin buckets -- sizes: 4 quarts to 12 quarts
  • Wooden scrub brushes
  • Feather dusters (or something similar)
  • Dish towels -- large, white
  • Tin camp plates & cups
  • Pair of one-piece red long johns 
  • White dish towels
  • Heavy-duty sturdy desk to stand/sit on
  • Old-fashioned suitcases
  • Old-fashioned briefcase
  • Large red Christmas bows
  • Old pillows & pillow cases
  • Old sheets & blankets

Please make sure to bring props on Sunday afternoons (1:00-2:30 PM) or Wednesday evenings (8:00-9:00 PM) when Megan Woods, Carlye Peterson, or Maren Nelson is available to approve. You may also email a picture of the prop to Megan, and she can let you know if it's what she wants. 

 

Costumes: 

  • Men’s hats that resemble those of the 1930s era.
  • Men’s vests
  • "Cabbie" hats
  • Men's top hats
  • Women’s dresses or coats that resemble the 1930s era
  • Boys\men’s pea coats

Please make sure to bring costumes on Sunday afternoons (1:00-2:30 PM) or Wednesday evenings (8:00-9:00 PM) when Nancy Simpson is available to approve. You may also email a picture of the costume to Nancy, and she can let you know if it's what she's looking for.

 

We will return all props & costumes, so please put your name on them. Although we'll be as careful as possible with your items, please do not lend anything of high monetary or emotional value to you. THANK YOU!
