About the Program
Our program seeks to encompass the following three faith-development experiences through mission trips, activities at Family of Christ and in the community, social outings for coffee or lunch, SNL (Sunday Night Life) large group meetings, and a wide variety of other opportunities
We believe strongly that spiritually-mature young people are nurtured in a ministry environment where they experience:
-Individual faith development: Discovering gifts and how God is calling them into service
-Small group faith development: A cohort model for young people and those who have similar passions and learning needs
-Community faith development: Celebrating together in fellowship and worship, the diversity of talents and gifts and our call to a common mission
Faith Formation Ministry at Family of Christ provides opportunities for young people and adults to be both nurtured in individual spiritual growth and accepted and encouraged in Christian Community, outreach, and discipleship. The ministry serves youth and their families from 6-12th grade as part of the Faith Formation Ministry providing resources and programming for living a life of faith.

SNL is open to ALL youth grades 9-12! Newcomers and friends are always welcome. SNL is back this year, bigger and better than ever before! Each month we will spend a week LEARNING about our faith and how it works in our crazy world, SERVING a wide variety of needs at FoC and around the metro, CONNECTING with one another through different activities to bring us closer together, and PLAYING together through parties and events. SNL meets Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:00 unless otherwise specified. Contact Lindsey Ruhland with any questions - 952.934.5659 ext 30.
March 7: CONNECT: Come try out our newest group building toy - the co-oper blanket! This crazy spandex contraption makes for lots of fun and helps us to work as a team!
March 14: LEARN: Explore what makes your faith unique and discover where you want it to grow! This is a decorate-your-own duckie night!
March 21: PLAY: Help Lindsey celebrate her B-day with a party! We will have cake, games, and a Nerf dart gun war! Please bring any Nerf darts and guns you have at home!
March 28: No SNL- Happy Spring Break!

March 14: Mission Trip Meeting
Duluth and Montana Mission Trip participants meet from 5:30-6:30.
March 29: Spring break Luau! Noon-3 PM
Aloha! There still might be snow outside, but we can still feel the warmth of friendship and fun at FoC.
March 29: Youth Room Open from Noon - 3 PM
If you're stuck here in Minnesota over spring break like Lindsey and Teri
are, come to church on March 29. The Christos Zone and Youth room
will be open for a Spring break (paradise themed) Easter party with crafts, snacks and tropical beverages!
June 25-27: Cross Fest Music Festival
High Schoolers - check out the bulletin board outside the Youth Room this month for registration info for Cross Fest Christian music festival in Lindsey's hometown of Lewiston, MN. Registrations due April 30.
July 9-11: Camping Trip to Tettegouche State Park
Open to youth who have completed 9th-12th grade. Cost is $50. Registrations due April 30.
July 24-August 1: Mission Trip to Blackfeet Reservation in Montana
