Our program seeks to encompass the following three faith-development experiences through mission trips, activities at Family of Christ and in the community, social outings for coffee or lunch, large group meetings, and a wide variety of other opportunities.
We believe strongly that young people become spiritually-mature when nurtured in a ministry environment where they experience:
-Individual faith development: Discovering gifts and how God is calling them into service
-Small group faith development: A cohort model for young people and those who have similar passions and learning needs
-Community faith development: Celebrating together, in fellowship and worship, the diversity of our talents and gifts, and our call to a common mission
Faith Formation Ministry at Family of Christ provides opportunities for young people and adults to be nurtured in individual spiritual growth, and accepted and encouraged in Christian Community, outreach, and discipleship. The ministry serves youth and their families from 6th -12th grade as part of the Faith Formation Ministry providing resources and programming for living a life of faith.
